The event will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Gold's Gym Quail Springs, 2301 W Memorial Road.

The RedHawks will sign autographs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Climb a rock wall from 2 to 6 p.m. or give Cardio Mix, Body Combat or Zumba a try from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

TOBACCO

Cessation talk to be held in Spanish

More Americans die each year from lung cancer than from breast, prostate and colorectal cancers combined, according to Integris Health. That's why it's important to learn how to minimize the risk.

Dr. Marco Molina will host an educational presentation in Spanish about the dangers of tobacco, including second- and third-hand smoke.

The presentation is sponsored by the Integris Hispanic Initiative and Latino M-POWER. It will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. July 31 in the Medical Office Building at Integris Southwest Medical Center, room B-10, 4200 S Douglas Ave.

For more information or to register, call 951-2277 and press 2 for Spanish.

HEARING

Free screenings to be offered

The Integris Cancer Institute and the Integris Cochlear Implant Clinic are hosting a discussion on ear health.

The talk will include information about ear infections, the impact of noise levels from new technology, how mild hearing loss can affect learning and the options available for adults and children who are having trouble hearing.

Free hearing screenings will be available for those who have not been diagnosed with a hearing loss. Screenings are by appointment only.

If doctors already have determined that you have a degree of deafness, the Cochlear Implant team will work with you to see whether your insurance will cover the cost of annual hearing exams.

The event will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 14, at the Integris Cancer Institute, 5911 W Memorial Road.

For more information, call 951-2277.
