Oklahoma high schools plan 'Win-Win' campaign against cancer
The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association and OU Cancer Institute are teaming up for Win-Win Week, a campaign scheduled Sept. 13-17 at more than 30 high schools to raise funds and awareness in the fight against cancer in Oklahoma.

Norman High School got a head start Monday on the Oklahoma Students Care Win-Win Week when first lady Kim Henry and former Oklahoma Sooner Heisman Trophy winners Steve Owens, Billy Sims and Jason White wore bright pink shirts for the Win-Win Week campaign announcement.
"Thirty years ago I would never wear a pink shirt in a locker room," Sims said to laughter inside Norman High's new field house. "Not in high school."
White and others at the announcement asked schools to sign up for Win-Win Week and for their students to come up with creative ways to raise money and awareness for fighting and preventing cancer in Oklahoma. Schools can register at www.okstudentscare.org.
