It probably won’t have the allure it would’ve had last season now that the Blue Jays won’t have Doug McDermott but Oklahoma and Creighton will start a home-and-home next season with a game in Omaha, the Omaha World-Herald reported Tuesday.

Creighton will visit Norman in 2015.

Blue Jays athletic director Bruce Rasmussen and OU A.D. Joe Castiglione are both on the NCAA Division I Basketball Committee.

McDermott and his father, Creighton coach Greg McDermott were in Oklahoma City on Monday where the younger McDermott was presented with the Oscar Robertson Trophy as the national player of the year.

Creighton moved from the Missouri Valley to the Big East this season, going 27-8 overall and losing to Baylor in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Oklahoma will also play in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in the Bahamas during Thanksgiving week. That field will include a pair of Final Four teams in Florida and Wisconsin. Also playing will be Butler, Georgetown, North Carolina, UAB and UCLA.
