Oklahoma legislators take their oaths today
Legislators in the 101-member state House of Representatives and newly elected and re-elected members of the state Senate will be sworn in today.
Twenty-three freshmen – 17 in the House and six in the Senate – will be among those taking their oaths of office. Because of scheduling conflicts, some House members earlier were given their oaths of office.
