AUTISM TREATMENT
At stake: House Bill 2027 would provide for training and licensing of behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts who work with children with autism.

What happened: Passed the Senate Health and Human Services Committee.

What’s next: Goes to the full Senate.

HEALTH INSURANCE
At stake: House Bill 2026 would strengthen the Insure Oklahoma program and allow Oklahomans younger than 40 to buy cheaper insurance policies and would provide incentives to employers to use pretax dollars to buy health coverage.

What happened: Passed the Senate Health and Human Services Committee.

What’s next: Goes to the full Senate.
