FEEDER CATTLE
Oklahoma combined weekly auction summary. Feeder cattle weighted average report for week of Oct. 30 to Thursday.
Receipts: 38,100; last week: 35,225; last year: 36,135.
Combined weighted average report for Oklahoma auctions: Eight feeder auctions included this week: Oklahoma City, El Reno, Woodward, Apache, Ada, McAlester, Tulsa and Texhoma. Feeder cattle and calves steady to $2 higher.
Steers: Medium and large No. 1: (weighted average) Calves: 328 lbs. $127.86; 372 lbs. $125.82; 421 lbs. $117.07; 474 lbs. $114.89; 528 lbs. $106.48; 571 lbs. $100.30; 623 lbs. $95.25; 677 lbs. $90.43; 735 lbs. $89.27.

SLAUGHTER CATTLE
Slaughter cattle unsold by 3:30 p.m. in Texas with an asking price of $90. Trade steady in Kansas and sales in Nebraska $1 lower on a live basis; steady to $0.50 lower on a dressed basis. Sales confirmed this week totaled 112,925 head. Last week 179,762 head.
Nebraska feedyards: Live Basis: Steers and Heifers $85-$86. Dressed Basis Steers and Heifers few $134-$134.50.
Texas and Kansas feedyards: Live Basis: Steers and Heifers $87-$87.50 (Kansas).
CATTLE FUTURES

OKC West El Reno Sheep and Goat report for Wednesday: 802 head. Slaughter lambs: $4-$5 higher; Feeder lambs: $5-$7 higher; Slaughter ewes: Steady; Slaughter kids: $8-$10 higher; Slaughter nannies: $5-$7 higher.

Estimated Composite Boxed Beef Cutout Value: Steady with last Friday close. Choice 600-900 lbs. $140.78; select 600-900 lbs. $135.44.
MEAT PRODUCTION
Beef: 499.5 million lbs., up 2.5 percent from last year.
Pork: 466 million lbs., up 0.2 percent from last year.
Lamb: 3.3 million lbs., up 3.1 from a year ago.
Cattle Carcass Weights -- National Average: This week estimate 797 lbs.; last week estimate 800 lbs.; last year’s actual 783 lbs.
