Oklahoma mall shooting case testimony continues

Oklahoman Published: July 17, 2012

MUSKOGEE (AP) — Testimony is continuing in the trial of a man charged with killing one person and wounding five others at the Arrowhead Mall in Muskogee.

On Monday, a defense expert witness testified that Dondray Fowler was moving when he fired his gun on April 10, 2010. Fowler's attorneys argue that he was acting in self-defense when he shot and killed 17-year-old Jarrod Reed and injured five others.

The Muskogee Phoenix reports that defense witness John Wilson testified before prosecutors rested their case because Wilson had a scheduling conflict.

Wilson said the location of spent cartridges makes him believe Fowler was moving when he fired his gun.

Prosecutors say security footage will show Fowler acted intentionally.

Testimony continues Tuesday. The trial is expected to last all week. has disabled the comments for this article.
