Oklahoma man accused of attacking girlfriend for refusing sex

A Tulsa man was arrested Wednesday night after he was accused of attacking his girlfriend for refusing sex.

Cody Ray Wofford, 21, was booked into the Tulsa Jail on domestic assault and battery by strangulation, domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor and obstructing justice complaints, jail records show.

Wofford reportedly attempted to strangle his girlfriend at a residence in the 2600 block of East 61st Street North about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report.
