The U.S. attorney's office says 28-year-old Jeran Randall Secratt, of Tahlequah, pleaded guilty Monday to extortion and producing child pornography. A plea agreement calls for a sentence of 15 years in federal court followed by supervised release.

Investigators said the girl was 13 when she and Secratt started chatting online. Some of their chats were highly sexual, and Secratt admitted suggesting the girl get a webcam and send him explicit pictures of herself.

When the girl refused, Secratt threatened to send copies of their sexual chats to everyone on her email contact list, including her grandmother and other relatives. The girl then went along, making and sending the requested images.
