Oklahoma man arrested after demanding discount at tanning salon

JENKS - A Bixby man was arrested Saturday afternoon after he reportedly demanded a discount on a spray tan and stole tanning lotion from a Jenks salon while wearing a stolen police badge.

Around 1:30 p.m., Jenks police officers responded to a disturbance call at the city’s At the Beach Tanning Superstore location, where employees alleged Dustin Bell, 25, demanded he receive a $10 spray tan, which has a value of $34, according to a booking report.

During the incident, Bell reportedly had a badge from the Sand Springs Police Department attached to his sweater, which he said he found at a south Tulsa car wash. Police in Jenks called Sand Springs officers and determined the badge was stolen from an officer who also reported his wallet missing earlier in the week, the report says.
