Oklahoma man dies after collision in Ellis County

Louis Andrew Crouch, 80, of Arnett, was traveling south on U.S. Highway 283 when the collision occurred in Ellis County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

A man died Sunday after a two-vehicle collision in Ellis County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

About 12:20 p.m., Louis Andrew Crouch, 80, of Arnett, was driving a pickup south on U.S. Highway 283 about a mile south of Arnett. Crouch was making a left turn when his pickup was struck by a northbound pickup on the highway, troopers said.

Crouch, who was wearing a seat belt, died at the scene. The other driver, who also was wearing a seat belt, was not injured, troopers said.
