Three Oklahoma men die in wrecks on state roads

Three men died over the weekend in wrecks on state roads, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Coby Wayne Schneider, 28, Nash

Casey D. Schneider, 25, Enid

About 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Coby Schneider was driving a pickup north on State Highway 132 in Grant County a when it went left of center and crashed head-on into a southbound tractor-trailer, troopers said.

Both men died at the scene. The driver of the rig, William E. Wright, 67, of Manchester, was taken to a Kansas hospital in serious condition, troopers said.

No one involved was wearing a seat belt.

Lawerence Dillard, 33, Norman

About 7:50 p.m. Saturday, Dillard was northbound on Fisher Road in an electric golf cart. At the State Highway 9 intersection, Dillard did not stop at the stop sign, troopers said. The golf cart was struck on the passenger side by a westbound pickup.

Dillard was taken to a hospital in hospital in Eufaula where he died, troopers said. has disabled the comments for this article.
