Oklahoma man dies in Cherokee County accident

Troy Bohlander, 35, of Welling, was driving a pickup about 7:30 p.m. Saturday on State Highway 100 when his vehicle left the roadway, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

A Welling man died Saturday night after his pickup went off the road in Cherokee County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

About 7:30 p.m., Troy Bohlander, 35, was driving on State Highway 100 near Tahlequah. The pickup ran off the roadway on a curve, flipped over and hit a tree, troopers said.

Bohlander, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, troopers said.
