— A Buffalo man died Friday at the scene of a fiery collision on State Highway 15 west of Woodward, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

About 8:25 p.m., Chandler Craig Farmer, 23, was eastbound in a Mack truck that collided with a trailer being pulled by a westbound pickup.

A tire blew out on the pickup and the driver crossed the centerline, troopers said.

The trailer, which was hauling an oil field pump, separated from the pickup.

Farmer's truck struck the trailer and both caught fire, troopers said.

Troopers said unsafe tires on the pickup contributed to the collision. has disabled the comments for this article.
