Oklahoma man trying to cross I-44 dies after being struck by vehicle

A Sapulpa man was killed after he was struck by a truck while attempting to cross Interstate 44 late Saturday in Creek County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Dead is 43-year-old Kevin Doyle, the OHP said.

Troopers said Doyle was running across I-44 from the westbound lanes to the eastbound lanes about 9 p.m. when he was struck by 2011 Ford F-350 driven by Cecil Jones Jr., troopers said.
