Suspicious death reported in Cherokee County

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into the death of a Cookson man, whose body was discovered Wednesday by a family member.

COOKSON — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reported a suspicious death in Cherokee County.

OSBI agents are investigating the death of Bradford Brooks, 56, whose body was found Wednesday afternoon outside his home at 19724 W Cookson Bend Road by a family member.

The body was taken to the state medical examiner's office for autopsy.

No other details were released.
