F — Romero Osby (6-8, Sr.): Solid both outside and in, shot 49 percent last season.

G — Steven Pledger (6-4, Sr.): The Sooners' leading scorer last season is back for more.

G — Je'lon Hornbeak (6-3, Fr.): A smart decision-maker and constant giver of high effort.

G — Isaiah Cousins (6-3, Fr.): Incredible court vision and smooth passer.

Rotation candidates

G — Sam Grooms (6-1, Sr.): A solid ballhandler who helps calm the sometimes over-energized squad

G — Buddy Hield (6-3, Fr.): Immediate producer from the bench with a can't-lose mentality
