Oklahoma Mesonet shows one location dipped to 9.9 degrees at 7:30 a.m.

At 7:30 a.m., the temperature at Foraker in northeastern Oklahoma was 9.9 degrees, according to the Oklahoma Mesonet weather network. 

Today, the forecast for Oklahoma City calls for a high near 39 degrees. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph today, according to the National Weather Service.

Looking ahead, the National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office says, “After a mild weather Wednesday, a colder airmass will arrive early Thursday.

“The cold will be around just for a day, then a strong warming trend quickly begins. By the weekend, temperatures will again be well above normal for late January.”
