Oklahoma mom accused in baby's death had six prior DHS reports

A Bartlesville mother accused of child neglect in the death of her 10-day-old baby was investigated by state child welfare workers on six previous occasions, including taking so many prescription drugs near her due date while pregnant she was unable to walk stairs or speak clearly, according to a report released Tuesday by the Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth.

Lyndsey Fiddler was charged in the Nov. 4 death of Maggie May Trammel, who was found in a washing machine after a spin cycle was completed by a relative living in the home.

Fiddler has two other children, an 8-year-old and a 5-year-old. A report of abuse and neglect was pending at the time of Maggie May's death, the report states.
