Oklahoma motorcyclist dies after Rogers County traffic accident

Daniel R. White, 50, of Lenapah, was riding a motorcycle about 2:30 p.m. when a front-end load tractor was trying to turn and the motorcycle hit the bucket of the tractor, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

A motorcyclist died Thursday afternoon after a traffic accident in Rogers County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Daniel R. White, 50, of Lenapah, was riding a motorcycle about 2:30 p.m. northbound on Bird Creek Avenue. A front-end loader tractor was trying to turn eastbound and the motorcycle hit the bucket of the tractor, troopers said.

White, who was not wearing a helmet, died at the scene. The tractor driver was not injured, troopers said.
