Event Director Ruthann Baugh said it was a pleasure to see how many people took advantage of the lessons.

“This event kind of kicks off the month really well,” she said. “It's a nice spring tuneup so people can hone their skills in advance of spring riding season.”

Sprayberry also brought along his daughter, Caitlin, who is his riding companion. He said taking the time to get comfortable with your bike is crucial to keeping safe.

“Get comfy with the motorcycle before you go out in traffic,” he said. “This event is nice because it gets you some seat time in more rural environments before you try and conquer the Crosstown.”
