Oklahoma native artist didn’t make up success

Hollywood makeup artist and Oklahoma native Matthew Mungle spent part of his youth trying to become a monster.

At age 11, Mungle asked his mother whether he could borrow her leftover makeup. She reluctantly agreed, and Mungle stood in front of his bathroom mirror re-creating monsters from horror films that he would stay up at night to watch.
