Inmate hurt

by another

An Oklahoma County inmate was cut on the leg Monday by another inmate in a community bathroom on the 10th floor of the jail, sheriff's spokesman Mark Myers said. Officers noticed the injured inmate was bleeding and took the suspected assailant into custody. Myers said officers are searching for the weapon that was used. He said the injured inmate was taken by ambulance to an area hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries. Neither the injured inmate nor his alleged assailant have been identified, and it was not immediately clear what charges would be filed in the incident.
