Police are investigating the shooting death of 16-year-old Khaleeq Landon at a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex. The teen was found dead on the ground about 9:45 p.m. Thursday at Windsor Village Apartments, 4700 block of NW 24, police said. Anyone with information can call the homicide tip line at 297-1200.

Man arrested

in death

Authorities have arrested the ex-boyfriend of a woman who was found dead Thursday, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. The body of Danyel Borden, 21, of California, was found lying in a road Thursday. OSBI agents and Ottawa County deputies arrested Dustin Everett Boggs, 24, in Miami, OK. Boggs was booked into the county jail on a murder complaint.

body found

A Cherokee County woman told deputies she killed a man and buried his body in a rural area near Hulbert, officials report. Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents and deputies obtained a search warrant for the area and found a badly decomposed body. Misty Richardson was booked into the Cherokee County jail on a murder complaint.
