Moore forum to cover claims
Oklahoma insurance experts will hold a forum at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Moore Public Library to help local residents with insurance-related claims related to the May tornadoes. Insurance Department officials will discuss topics like how to file a claim, what happens when a claim is denied, how to file a complaint and how to detect fraud. Residents also can ask about insurance concerns. Nearly 100,000 insurance claims have been filed in Oklahoma since May 19, totaling more than $1.1 billion, Insurance Commissioner John Doak said.
