Man gets life
in stabbing
An Oklahoma man has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for the stabbing death of a 16-year-old girl last summer. Keith Titsworth, 32, pleaded guilty Wednesday to first-degree murder in the death of Madison Nelson. Titsworth admitted stabbing the teenager but said little else at the hearing. More than 20 family members and friends of the victim attended the hearing. Nelson's mother, Shanna Rue, testified that her daughter loved to dance and enjoyed school. Rue says her daughter, who went by Maddie, was excited to get her driver's license. A plea agreement spared Titsworth from the death penalty.

Detective Brian Chavez said police found vials of steroids and other drugs in a duplex Thursday and arrested Taylor Herron, 27, on complaints of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
