Oklahoma nonprofit seeks donations of art supplies at event

The Changing Lives Creatively donation drive will be held Thursday in Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma nonprofit Changing Lives Creatively, which provides education and therapy to children and adults, will hold its annual art supply drive and public awareness event, Monet & Martinis, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the office of Dunlap Codding, 609 W Sheridan Ave.

The organization provides art therapy services to children and their families as they process and overcome traumatic experience such as child abuse, neglect, grief and loss. In lieu of ticket admission, attendees are asked to bring art supplies for admittance to the event.

The evening will include complimentary refreshments and live entertainment, as well as a silent auction and wine toss.

Tax deductible donations also are accepted on the organization’s website.
