Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers steady to $2 higher. Steer calves steady to $2 lower. Heifer calves mostly steady. Demand moderate to good with very little demand for short weaned calves. Quality plain thru several attractive. First real cold spell of the season moved in Sunday with mostly strong winds and cold temperatures. Once again much of the state missing out on the moisture. Beef prices lower at week's end and slaughter cattle moving lower though numbers of cash trades were limited.
