Compared to last week: Slaughter cows sold $1-$2 higher. Slaughter bulls mostly steady to $2 higher. Packer demand remains good to very good. Total of 211 cows and bulls sold with 53 percent going to packers.

Slaughter Cows: 1,000-1,675 lbs. Average dressing Boners and Breakers $82.50-$90; Lean cows $78-$84; High dressing Boners $92-$96, other grades not tested; Low dressing $72-$83.50; 800 950 lbs. Light weight cows Average dressing and High dressing not tested; Low dressing $68-$71.50.
