Compared to the last week: Slaughter cows sold $4-$6 higher. Breaker cows $1-$2 higher in a light test. Slaughter bulls $1-$2 higher. Packer demand very good for lighter receipts. Total of 280 cows and bulls sold with 53 percent going to packers.

Slaughter Cows: 1,000-1,650 lbs. Average dressing Boners and Breakers $83-$88.50; Lean cows $77.50-$82.50; High dressing $83.50-$94; Low dressing $70-$81.50. 850-1,000 lb. Light weight cows Average dressing $79; High dressing $80-$84; Low dressing $65-$71.50, Very low dressing $57.50-$61.50.

Slaughter Bulls: 1,300-2,250 lbs. Average dressing $95-$100; High dressing $103-$111.50, Very high dressing $117; Low dressing $88.50-$94.

The estimated dressed cost at the Oklahoma National Stockyards; Lean $172.75; Boners $173.55; Breakers $158.90; Light weight cows $164.20. Bulls $177.40.
