Compared to last week: Slaughter cows sold steady to $1 higher. Slaughter bulls not well tested. Packer demand was moderate. Total of 345 cows and bulls sold with 78 percent going to packers.

Slaughter Cows: 1,000-1,600 lbs. Average dressing $71.50-$76.50; High dressing $75-$84.50; Low dressing $63.50-$71. 800-1,000 lbs. Light weight cows Average dressing $62.50-$67.50; High dressing $70.50-$77.50; Low dressing not tested.

Slaughter Bulls: 1,525-2,125 lbs. Average dressing $91-$95.50; High dressing $106; Low dressing $82-$87, Very low $79. The estimated dressed cost at the Oklahoma National Stockyards; Lean $156.85; Boners $151.35; Breakers $139.55. Bulls $165.60.
