Monday's actual: Closed Labor Day Holiday. Compared to last week: Feeder cattle and calves not well tested. Slaughter cows and bulls lightly tested. Limited numbers of slaughter cows sold steady to $2 higher. Slaughter bulls mostly steady. Total of 95 cows and bulls sold with 58 percent going to packers.

Slaughter Cows: 1,000-1,525 lbs. Average dressing Boners and Breakers $75-$78.50; Lean Cows $73.50-$77.50; High dressing all grades $78-$87; Low dressing all grades $70-$74.50. 700-1,000 lbs. Light Weight Cows Average dressing $67.50-$71; High dressing $76.50-$82; Low dressing $60-$65.

Slaughter Bulls: 1,350-1,900 lbs. Average dressing few $96; High dressing few $98.50; Low dressing $87-$89.50, Very Low dressing $77-$86. The estimated dressed cost at the Oklahoma National Stockyards; Lean $163.30; Boners $154.75; Breakers $144.20; Lightweight carcasses $148.70; Bulls $172.30.

Replacement Cows: Pretested for pregnancy and age. Medium and Large No. 1-2: 1-2 year old 850-950 lb. cows 4-6 months bred low to average quality black $875-$910/head.
