Four Oklahoma State and three Oklahoma players were named first-team All-Big 12 selections by The Associated Press, which released its all-conference team Wednesday.

Senior offensive lineman Lane Taylor, sophomore receiver Josh Stewart, junior running back Joseph Randle and senior kicker/punter Quinn Sharp were the Cowboys' first-team selections. Sharp made the team twice, as both kicker and punter.

For the Sooners, junior center Gabe Ikard, junior cornerback Aaron Colvin and junior safety Tony Jefferson were all first-teamers.

The Associated Press' All-Big 12 was selected by a panel of 18 sports writers who regularly cover the league for newspapers throughout the league's five states.

Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein was named the AP's Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year; TCU defensive end Devonte Fields earned Defensive Player of the Year honors.

Kansas State coach Bill Snyder, who led the Wildcats to an 11-1 record, Big 12 championship and Fiesta Bowl berth, was coach of the year.
