Oklahoma panel approves program to assist retired and unwanted racehorses

Retired and unwanted racehorses are a huge problem in Oklahoma. A plan approved by the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission would call for funds to be set aside to help pay for retraining and care of Oklahoma-bred thoroughbred racehorses.
