Oklahoma pays $92,500 to settle DHS lawsuit
The state of Oklahoma has paid $92,500 to settle a lawsuit that blamed the Oklahoma Department of Human Services for a boy’s death.
Eli Kevin Johnson, 3, was killed in 2009 in Oklahoma City.
His father, Daniel Johnson, sued DHS last May. He alleges DHS did not do enough to protect Eli and Eli’s younger sister when he reported in November 2008 that the boy had been abused while with his mother.
