Oklahoma Pet Tales: Dog has own ‘newspaper’ route

I have an intelligent miniature Schnauzer.
In the mornings about 5:30, I just open the door, and she runs out and gets
The Oklahoman and comes right back in and goes to the cabinet for a treat.
This morning, she took off (she likes to roam). It was dark, and I couldn’t chase her, so I waited for her to come back.
After a while, she barked at the front door. When I opened it, she stood there with one paper in her mouth and four others by the door.
Her little stub of a tail was going so fast and the look on her face was so proud.
Needless to say, I couldn’t punish her. I had to deliver my neighbors’ papers.
