Oklahoma police officer arrested in prostitution sting

A Tulsa police officer was arrested on allegations that he engaged in prostitution near a church.

Cpl.David Turner, 52, of Broken Arrow, was booked into the Tulsa Jail Wednesday on possession of a firearm in commission of a felony and engaging in prostitution within a 1,000 feet of a church, according to an arrest report.

The report indicates that Turner was taken into custody from the Executive Inn, 11328 E. 11th St., about 3 p.m. during an undercover sting.
