NORMAN — Oklahoma posted strong numbers across the board in the latest NCAA Academic Progress Rate figures, released Wednesday afternoon.

Programs must post an APR of 930 or higher over a four-year period to avoid NCAA penalties, and the lowest of OU’s programs was the wrestling team’s 949.

The Sooners’ scores in the biggest four sports — football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and baseball — were all above the national averages.

The highest score among OU’s programs was the women’s gymnastics team, which posted a perfect 1000. That squad won its first-ever national championship last month.
