Richardson expands to Enid

— Richardson Homes has continued its expansion with an office at 1101 W Cherry St. in Enid. The Tuttle-based builder, a longtime fixture in Oklahoma City-area home construction, opened an office in Clinton in February 2012. Dennis Lee, company president, said western Oklahoma is lacking in new homes.

“There is a major need for homes in this area because of the military and oil business. Homes are next to impossible to find and when they are, the prices are extremely high. We plan on making Enid a new affordable housing market with our homes,” he said. “We specialize in luxury and custom homes, and we take pride in our motto: ‘We build on your land — your way.'”

Outreach office to close

Oklahoma City's resident outreach office, set up June 5 to help people with the rebuilding process after the May 20 tornado, will close Wednesday and operations will move downtown. The office is in the Business Development Center on the South Penn Campus of Moore Norman Technology Center, 13301 S Pennsylvania Ave. After Wednesday, Oklahoma City homeowners should call 297-2525 for assistance with demolition and building permits. Property owners who want city-hired contractors to remove debris from homes destroyed by the tornado can call 297-1030.
