Marriott hotel changes hands

The Procaccianti Group LLC, Cranston, R.I., has bought the Waterford Marriott Hotel, 6300 Waterford Blvd., from New York-based Investcorp International Realty Inc. for $23.75 million, county records show. Investcorp paid $26 million for the property in 2007. The nine-story, 145,693-square-foot hotel was built in 1984. Neither the buyer nor seller could be reached for comment Friday.

First Mortgage adds division

First Mortgage Co. LLC has started a new division to provide mortgage services to community banks and their customers headed by Kent Carter, immediate past president of the Oklahoma Mortgage Bankers Association. Carter has nearly 40 years of experience in mortgage banking. He will work from First Mortgage Co.’s Norman office at 1004 24th Ave NW, Suite 102.

Summit talks building methods

Lean building will be the main topic Sept. 11 at the 2014 Oklahoma Building Summit sponsored by the Oklahoma State Home Builders Association. The conference at the Reed Center will present Scott Sedam, president of TrueNorth Development, who will talk about building processes developed by TrueNorth to eliminate waste, save money and add value to projects. Agency raises $45K for kids’ gifts

Santa’s Sleigh Inc., a nonprofit formed by employees of the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency, raised $45,000 at a charity golf tournament recently at Coffee Creek Golf Course for the purchase of toys, school supplies, toiletries and other Christmas presents for 1,800 homeless Oklahoma children this December. Santa’s Sleigh has used its annual tournament’s proceeds to provide gifts to 14,000 homeless children in 60 different shelters since 2001. To donate, go to www.santas–sleigh.org.
