Leidos gets Holly project

— Leidos Holdings Inc., formerly a part of SAIC, is under contract with Holly Refining and Marketing-Tulsa LLC to provide design-build engineering, procurement and construction services for the company's gas oil loading system. The $2.1 million project in Tulsa began in March 2013 and is scheduled for completion at the end of November.

The turnkey project will allow for the rail loading of gas oil products. Reston, Va.-based Leidos, with offices in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, is helping Holly Tulsa add a new rail loading platform and three loading arms to its existing Black Oil Loading Rack. One challenge has been to design the loading rack to fit in the limited space between existing piping and associated equipment and the two existing rails.

Firms plan global auction

— Jones Lang LaSalle and Tulsa-based real estate auction and advisory firm Williams & Williams will jointly present a live, global commercial real estate auction Dec. 2-6, the first in a series of planned auctions. Jones Lang LaSalle will source properties and Williams & Williams will conduct live-on-site auctions in partnership with its sister company Auction Network.

Williams & Williams' live global auctions enable remote bidders to compete in real time with on-site bidders, expanding the buyer base for featured properties, and competitively increasing high bids. Williams & Williams bills itself as the only major auction company to conduct its live auctions simultaneously at the property and online. Williams & Williams “Live From Location” on-site and online auctions combine the full transparency of live auction with the global reach and market making of the Internet.
