Church plans addition, fundraiser

— West Point Christian Church will host its eighth annual fundraiser for the Oklahoma Hemophilia Research Foundation on Saturday at SW 15 and Richland Road. The fundraiser consists of an all-church yard sale, foot massages and pedicures. The yard sale begins at 8 a.m., while the pedicures and foot massages will begin at 9 a.m. Donations will be accepted for the pedicures and massages. Several items donated by local business will be raffled, and raffle tickets will be sold at the yard sale. Meanwhile, the church, whose sanctuary is on a historic register, is adding a new multipurpose family life building to its property.

Grand opening set for new church building

Destiny Christian Center will host a grand opening celebration for its new church building at 6 p.m. Sunday at 3801 SE 29. The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, food vendors, entertainment, bounce houses, a dunk tank, games and a fireworks display. The church will honor the many volunteers who helped with Moore tornado relief efforts in 2013. For more information, call 677-1451.

Music event

to include potluck

The Six-County Gospel Singing Convention is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Free Will Baptist Church of Porum. A potluck lunch will be at noon. For more information, call Zane and Linda Harding at (918) 733-4259.
