Big Lots returns to Edmond
EDMOND — Big Lots will open its new store at 9 a.m. Sept. 7 in the former Conn's at 1600 S Broadway. During the event, the retailer will donate $2,500 to Orvis Risner Elementary School. Big Lots had an Edmond store from 1996 to 2008 at 828 W Edmond Road.
Northpark event benefits arts
The Shoppes at Northpark's next Big Night Out is planned for Sept. 6, with 10 percent of proceeds from 5 to 8 p.m. going to Allied Arts. Many retailers will remain open extended hours for the event. The mall hosts a Big Night Out quarterly to raise money for different charities. Members of Catalyst, Allied Arts' young professionals organization, will hold a supply drive and Science Museum Oklahoma will host interactive, educational children's activities. The Shoppes at Northpark is located at N May Avenue and NW 122.
Outlet mall seeks gift wrappers
Organizations interested in fundraising through holiday gift wrapping are needed at The Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City. Applications will be accepted through Sept. 17. To be considered, email your name, organization name and phone number to okcmk@horizongroup.com.
