The Oklahoma Department of Transportation and Oklahoma Turnpike Authority announced the following road closings, effective through the Fourth of July weekend:

• Both directions of Interstate 35 near Purcell are narrowed between Johnson Road and Green Avenue.

• Both directions of U.S. 69 south of McAlester are narrowed to one lane to the Indian Nation Turnpike.

• Both directions of I-40 near Hydro area narrowed to one lane between mile marker 90 and mile marker 96.

• Both directions of I-40 east of Checotah are narrowed to one lane near State Highway 2.

• Both directions of I-35 north of Perry are narrowed to one lane at mile marker 198, north of U.S. 412.

• Both directions of I-35 north of Guthrie are narrowed between the Cimarron River and State Highway 51. The speed limit is reduced to 60 mph.

• Both directions of the Will Rogers Turnpike are narrowed to one lane between mile marker 272 and mile marker 282 and between mile marker 303 and mile marker 312.

• Both directions of the Cimarron Turnpike are narrowed to one lane at the Stillwater Spur.
