LANGSTON TO VISIT OSU

The Langston men's basketball team will get a big test one month into the 2011-2012 season. The Lions' new coach, Nigel Thomas, has scheduled Oklahoma State for a Dec. 4 exhibition game in Stillwater. It will be just the fourth time the schools, separated by 24 miles, have played. Thomas has connections to OSU; he worked the Cowboys' summer basketball camps the past few years. He was hired as Langston coach shortly after the NAIA program finished last season with a 4-23 record.

Langston opens the regular season Nov. 1 at Sterling (Kan.).
