The AHL released its 2012-13 schedule, and it has the Barons playing Oct. 12 and 13 in Cleveland against the Lake Erie Monsters. Oklahoma City will have a week off before its home opener, 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, against San Antonio in the Cox Center. The division rivals hooked up in the Western Conference semifinals last season, where the Barons won a best-of-7 series.

Oklahoma City lost to the Toronto Marlies in the conference finals; the Barons and Marlies will meet for the first time this season at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, in a Field Trip Day game at the Cox Center.

The AHL renamed the Western Division as the South Division. The Barons will play 44 of its 76 games against division rivals Houston, San Antonio, Texas and Charlotte. Faceoff for games scheduled Monday through Saturday will be 7 p.m. Sunday games will start at 4 p.m. Various season-ticket packages are available by calling (405) 232-4625.
