Oklahoma scene: Broken Arrow's Krissi Killion to attend U.S. Under-20 Women's National Team camp

Broken Arrow senior and Oklahoma State soccer signee is one of 24 players in the camp.

Krissi Killion, a Broken Arrow senior who signed to play soccer at Oklahoma State, is one of 24 players who will participate in the U.S. Under-20 Women's National Team camp. Killion is one of 12 high school players and eight forwards requested to attend the camp by coach Michelle French. The April 13-20 training camp is held in Carson, Calif.


Oklahoma Baptist University men's basketball coach Doug Tolin is a finalist for the Don Meyer National Coach of the Year Award. The award is given each year to the nation's top NAIA coach. Meyer was one of the game's most successful coaches; in 38 seasons, Meyer's teams compiled a 923-324 record. The award will be presented to the winner on Friday at the CollegeInsider.com awards banquet in Atlanta.
