Gary Gaskins, who spent the majority of last season on the Oklahoma State basketball team, has been reported missing in Atlanta.
A Tulsa World story reported that social-media posts from Atlanta police said Gaskins was last seen about 10:30 p.m. Friday, when he left the apartment he shares with his girlfriend. Gaskins said he was going to walk to McDonald's.
Gaskins, who is 6-foot-10, was wearing a black shirt, black basketball shorts with orange trim and black and white sneakers before he disappeared.
The center from Beaufort, S.C., joined the Cowboys as a junior-college transfer last year. He averaged three minutes while appearing in 11 games before stepping away for personal reasons in February. After the season, coach Travis Ford said Gaskins would not return for his senior year.
