Cornerback Tyler Patmon has transferred to Oklahoma State after graduating from Kansas.

Patmon was one of two players added to the Cowboys' roster on Monday. He joins junior college transfer Colby Hegwood, an offensive lineman from Pearl River Community College in Mississippi.

Patmon started for the Jayhawks for three seasons, intercepting six passes in 35 career games. His three interceptions led Kansas last season. Patmon has one year of eligibility remaining, transferring to Oklahoma State as a graduate student. Hegwood has three years of eligibility left.

OBU's MATT PAGE IS PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Oklahoma Baptist infielder Matt Page was named NAIA Baseball Player of the Year. Page led the nation with 85 RBIs and ranked second in home runs (15) and total bases (147). The junior first baseman from Redwood City, Calif., led the Bison in nearly every offensive category. Page owned a .981 fielding percentage, committing only six errors in 311 chances.

Page is the first OBU player honored — and second overall — since 1989, when pitcher David Hocking was named Player of the Year.
