Defending American Sprint Car Series Sooner Region champion Matt Covington picked up his second A feature victory of the season late Saturday night at West Siloam Springs Speedway.

Covington, who was one of three drivers to lead the race, moved into the front spot for good on the 13th of 25 scheduled laps. Kyle Chady and Joe Bob Lee had led the race, respectively, before Covington. Two-time Sooner Region champ Joe Wood Jr. finished second, while Lee, Mickey Walker and Brad Graham rounded out the top-five finishers.

SELLERS TAKES OCRS EVENT

Shane Sellers of Mustang took advantage of a miscue by previous leader Fred Mattox and won an Oil Capital Racing Series sprint car event late Saturday at Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada.

Sellers, the 10th different feature winner out of 15 races this season, moved in front on the 21st lap when Mattox' car crashed after getting tangled up with a slower car. Harli White, Casey Wills, Chance Morton and Danny Smith were the other top-five finishers.
